Michael Francis Fernando

Michael Fernando is a dedicated legal professional with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Majoring in International Management) from Griffith University, along with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. He was admitted to practice in the Queensland Supreme Court and in the High Court of Australia in 2020.

Michael specialises in various areas of law, with a particular focus on administrative law, where he assists clients in matters related to working with children and NDIS clearances. His expertise in navigating complex administrative processes ensures that clients receive the guidance and support they need to achieve their legal goals.

In addition to his administrative law practice, Michael’s interests extend to civil, immigration, and family law. He is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate legal challenges with compassion and expertise.

Outside of his legal career, Michael leads an active lifestyle, embracing outdoor adventures such as camping and four-wheel driving. He finds solace by the beach, and his love for sports extends to playing touch football and basketball. Additionally, Michael is an avid traveller, exploring destinations both within Australia and abroad.

Michael is also a Member of the Law Society of Queensland.
